My Black4 Matic got hit at the dealer

Hello everyone,

I need your opinion guys on what should I do?
I took my brand new C300 Sport 4Matic to the MB dealer for the 1000 miles service. At the end of the day I got a call from them that they closed the garage door on the roof and the Nav. antenna.
My question is what should I do? Do I have the rights to ask for a new one or at least if they didn't fix it correctly?

You shouldn't have to do anything. They should replace it free of charge to a level that is just as good as the factories. And you do have a right to complain if the job isn't up to standard.

If not a replacement car, you need to insist on $1500-$2000 in addition to a perfect repair to compensate you for decreased resale value.

Do try to keep your cool as crap does happen. I can pretty well assure you the employee involved is upset & may even be without a job now.

'87 300E: sold after 11years @ 230k & still on the road somewhere in rural Tennessee.

'94 C220 with 93k totalled 10/06 by hit & run broadsiding monster truck: not a scratch or bruise for me

first off dont act like an ass. last saturday I accidentally hit the side of a forklift when pulling a 07 c230 into the shop. it scratched up the rear wheel and the rear fender and knocked off a plastic piece. the customer was watching and went nuts. he ended up writing letters to autonation, hired a lawyer, wrote emails to the GM of the dealer saying how his car was crashed and now is less then 50% value. needless to say please dont act like that. shit happens. and it will be fixed.

and no techs dont get fired just cause they hit and damage a car. if it happens on a daily basis i can understand, but usually the tech will have to pay for the damage. it depends on the dealer.
