And the amazing part is the durability that GM puts in those motors. Folks look down on the vette but dollar for dollar it is without question the best bang for the buck on the market.

Interior components are every bit as good as on my 2000 Benz and on my last road trip a few years back I racked up 32 MPG with the cruise setting at 80 on the six speed manual for a solid four hours.

I still have a 1994 Suburban with one of the last 350 CID small block. Never did anything to it except change oil, filters, distributor rotors, caps and spark plugs. But then, there are a lot of mediocre engines in between too. That was my last GM car.

Looks nice but i would like overhead camshafts please, and linerless alusil (high silicon aluminium) cylinders that make o-rings seal properly for 500,000Km. Just as in my old mercedes benz M117 motor.

The motor is certainly powerful, but a supercharged M117 or M119 is too.
