If you don't mind taking care of a black car, I think black gives you the better result in the end, IMHO.

Where do you live? I would never ever have a black car in the North (anywhere it snows). It looks good for all of 5 minutes. The South is a different story. Black is fine, as long as you don't mind it getting hot in the sun.

So much more elegant and it's the Mercedes flagship after all; black is the color for a Mercedes.

I don't have any pictures, but look up pictures of a newly detailed black CL and you'll know what I mean.

Silver is too common around here.

If you're into keeping it detailed big-time, go with the black; it'll show off your efforts better than silver.

As long as you keep up with it, then black is fine in FL. If you don't detail it on a regular basis and wash it at least once per week, then black is not for you.

I don't have time to wash my car every week. Silver is nice. Then every morning around 5:30-6am when I am leaving for work there is water mist on all the cars here. I am sure when I am driving that water will turn into dirt. I now have to narrow down these 2 warranty companies. Smart auto and continental.
