New site for Duval

Duval Motorcars - New & Used Mercedes-Benz, Jeep Dealer Showroom at 3525 NW 97th Boulevard Gainesville, Florida (FL) 32606
I liked their low markup. The old links go to dead site. The new site is having several glitches and no parts catalog. Hope they will make it soon.

I just spoke with them. They have different Internet prices and different over the phone. The difference is in the 40% range, so if you are not in hurry -place Internet inquiry, or ask about Internet price over the phone (if you get a person answering).

All the more reason to check out the OE prices at Parts.com

FWIW, I have had several purchases that worked out great for me. Better prices than Duval!

I always check at least 3 sites before buying. Just because one item is cheaper here, doesn't mean that the other item is not going to be cheaper somewhere else.
I just compared prices for temperature sensor for my diesel.
Duval $130,
oempartsdirect.com $141
parts.com $125
my local dealer (hold onto your seat) $210

Yes, and you need to take into account shipping costs of 10% at one site and 15% at another. But with that being said Parts.com with 15%+$2.00 has ended up being less expensive than the rest.

Duval is an MB dealer, not an aftermarket supplier, so you are always getting the real thing. Of course some parts are available only from a dealer. For a dealer their prices are terrific and often quite competitive with non-dealer internet suppliers. There must be many MB dealers very upset with them but I hope they can stick with it.

Before the Duval Parts site went down they had a statement in there Notes section that they used Parts.com as there Internet supplier. That's how I found Parts.com in the first place. When my parts were delivered they actually came from a M-B dealership not Parts.com even though my order was placed with Parts.com. Go figure.

Parts.com seems a bit amateurish. Their model lists are far from complete - e.g. missing E-class for 1994 and 1995, hardly a rare car. Or am I missing something?
