2009 Mercedes GLK

I don know how many Jalopnik readers there are on here, but recently the 2009 X202 GLK-Class was caught naked (without camo) on the set of the "sex and the city" movie. It was bashed pretty hard on Jalopnik. Picks of the new BMW Aztec, oops, meant X6, were just released and the GLK is far superior IMO. Anywho, here is a link. Brenda Priddy owns.

I'm just not impressed. I'll have to wait to see one in person to make a final judgement though.

The stats are there suggesting alot of women are buying MB...including no doubt what the husbands buying for their wives too. This vehicle looks geared to appeal to the ladies. Not a disparaging comment, just looks like a "ladies" vehicle.

I understand we in the US Market get this instead of the C-Wagon. While this looks nice, I would rather see the C-Wagon and either/both in Blue-tec.

Wake up Mercedes, there is a market niche you are ignoring. Not everyone wants SUV/SAV/SCV/MPV/TRUCKS!

In the US SUV sales typically exceed station wagon sales by a huge margin. MB did their market research. At $5 bucks a gallon someday that might change.
