Advice/thoughts please

Hi, this is my first post, and i need to ask advice.
I own a one year old E320 cdi sport, and one of the things that impressed me over my previous 320i Avantgarde with the straight 6, was no apparent turbo lag, or very little by comparison.
But, a few months ago, id be slowing right down to negotiate a junction, doing just 3 or 4mph, then, try to accelerate, and nothing happened for sometimes up to about 4 or 5 seconds!
Despite all the read outs saying the car was fine, and updates on the software, it still happened, although never staight after the guys in the service bay handed the car back to me!
More recently (a week ago) they fitted a Brabus chip, which seemed to cure the fault, until i was using the car next day, and the familiar "delay" whilst trying to pull away was there, although i admit, when it kicked in, was like a rocket!
Why, despite all this attention is it still happening?
Thanks for your replies guys!

Have you tried searching the W211 section? I tent to remember a similar complaint quite some time ago. The car is still under warranty, you should push the dealer to figure out what it is (by the way, how can it be an I6 and only a year old?).

Thanks for the reply, sorry, what is a 16? I dont mention that figure/model at all........? And yes, the car is one year old in 4 days.
Yes, it is under warranty, in fact the latest thing they did to try and sort the problem was to stick the Brabus chip in it, at first test drive it seemed to have cured it, but a bit more driving proved it hadnt..........

You did not mention 16, me neither But you did mention straight 6 which to me is "In-line" 6, that is I6. I thought the V6 had been in use for more than a year.

Actually I found the old thread, it was corrosion in the the engine control box and was it the connectors. So unlikely for a year old car.

Yes, i mention that the non lag on my current car (v6) was better than my previous straight 6 engine, previous being the operative word, looks like that is where you picked up on it.

Got it, I thought the 320i was some BMW, sorry for my lousy reading. Makes your issue even more strange to me, haven heard of a similar one on a one year old V6 CDI. Perhaps someone else?
