Yes,thanks for the sensible reply from yourself and germanstar.Of course they look ridiculous on wheels designed to display the caliper.As stated previously,most of the heat in a braking system is conducted away through the metal and most of the dust is free to blow away from the inner surfaces.

Presumably Jayhawk is some young ignorant punk who drives hard on his gas and his brakes and gains his automotive knowledge from other peoples' bullshit on internet forums rather than wisdom or experience.
