Do you guys think it's ok and safe to Line X the undercarriage of your benz.

I could see it's durable water tight seal being an effective deterrent to the elements, especially in the colder regions of the world.

sound off. I'm interested in doing it but want your feedback.

You could probably do it but since it is not commercially advertised my guess is that it has some drawbacks. Problems could be overspray onto moving parts and possibly trapping or creating traps for moisture. A few years ago on another forum we discussed using LineX or Rhinoliner in wheel wells for sound deadening and stone protection. I have not read anything for a long time about the stuff though.

I could see that. but as long as it's on the bottom of the car, wheel wells etc... and not on the drivetrain, and pipes etc...it should be ok right?

I was interested in the sound deadning and protection aspects of the product because I'm about to drop my C280 and I want to protect the bottom of the car, wells, etc...and stiilll look good.

anybody else got a chime in that's helpful? I appreciate it.
