No thank to the BMW 745I. If you are going to spend you might as well go all out. The I has the short retarded back door.

ABC controls and also lifting the car higher. I felt like I was riding on clowds. Steering is very easy and the car is very spacious. Auto seats. Then I went over to bmw and drove the 745Li. Plastic dash and plastic rear a/c vents. Even the door handles where loose because they are made out of cheap plastic. The 745li is the only car, I like by bmw. The cars was just too big for me and I felt more like a limo driver. Only thing I fear about the CL500 is the ABC problems. Is there any warranty companies that will cover this?
I have a 2004 CL55 and have had few problems with the car but the car only has 9,000 miles on it. My daughter's fiancee recently bought a 2003 CL 500 and purchased the DaimlerChrysler warranty from Courtesy Motors in CA. Thank goodness that he did. He has had the ABC pump replaced, the ignition control module replaced and the instrument panel replaced. The deductible is $100 per occurance. That is cheap at half the price since his repairs are well north of $5,000. Whatever you do get an extended warranty or a CPO car.
