Sheepskin Floor Mats

Has anyone bought sheepskin floor mats? Who did you buy them from and how do you like them?

I recently rode in an auto that had them (OEM Rolls Royce) and it was so nice on my feet. I am really wanting some for my MB, but the price range is pretty wide.

I haven't seen any made for any car, but I've never looked for them. I'd try a Google (or whichever search engine you prefer) for "sheepskin floor mat" or some variant. Also, in my limited experience if something is available "out there" it's probably on eBay!

I don't know where to get them but I don't think there is a large market for them. I think I would only get them if I and my passengers were barefoot. You can't feel anything with your shoes on so why not just use the oem mats? Besides, they would probably get dirty real fast so how would you clean them? Dry clean...seems a little over the top but to each his/her own.

Yeah you can tell the difference with your shoes on. It is the cushioning effect which is so nice. I have foot problems and it releaves the pressure from my feet while driving. VERY NICE!

As for cleaning, you pull them out, shake them off and brush them like you do the seat covers. While I see a lot of resistance because you two who answered have no knowledge of them, they are an option for many of the top of the line autos, and more popular in Europe than here. But, they are not that strange. After all, they do have sheep skin rugs.

Anyways, I do not need a source, I have 2 who I am considering. What I was looking for was people who have had them and their experience in the different qualities. Because the two sources I found for them vary greatly in price.
