Unhappy turn signal problem any advice welcome

I recently bumped my turn signal indicator with my knee getting into my car and now the blinker is alway on indicating that I'm turning left. If I click it to turn right it blinks the right light but after I make the turn it clicks back to bilnking left. There is no shutting it off in the middle position. It's always on. Makes it very difficult for other drivers seeing my car on the road blinking away. Anybody have this issue ever? Thanks

Model and year?

I had a ML320 that would click over to the right turn signal after I made a left hand turn, but not ever having the signal on all the time. I can only assume that you broke something in the column. Once you post the model, someone may be able to tell you how to take it apart.

you need a blinker stalk. very easy to replace your self, if you have any mech abillities(sp). its a common problem on the 210's.
