94 e320 a/c question

Does anybody know if I can remove the pressure switches that are on the receiver/dryer without losing any refrigerant? I know for a fact that on my VW this can be done because there is a schraeder valve there. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

no you cant. you have to evacuate the system in order to do so.
