If you claim otherwise, the responses tend to go non technical.

On the E-class on dyno, just about anybody here (on the E-class forum at least) know how to put E-class on dyno mode, no problem to measure it then, that's what dyno mode is about. One would not need to be specifically smart to know that, equally I'm not claiming another one would not be smart if he/she was not aware of it.
Like I stated earlier, thats right, I should have titles it "S CLASS HIGH FLOW INTAKE", and not "COLD AIR".

I did'nt know it was that easy for the E-class. I know it's called the roller test mode I bealive, and you control it from the cluster right? I don't think thats the case for the S class. I will look into it more. Thank you.

If you’re trying to be a psychologist talking about emotions and stuff, feel free to join the psychology forum. I am sure they will find you younger and stupider there as well, just as I do here.

If you think the traction control is an ‘excuse to run the car on the dyno, try putting your e-class on the dyno, see what happens. Or if you’re so smart tell me how to fix that problem.

If another member is willing to try my system on their S class, taking it to the dyno and so on, that is fine with me. Anytime.
A. I didn't insult you: all I did was describe the way you're coming across in your posts. While you have responded by insulting me, I'll presume that was retaliatory because you thought I insulted you.
B. One of my degrees happens to be in Psychology, but I don't think that's relevant.
C. In each instance here I have tried to appeal to logic and at least a (weak) nod to scientific method and plausible experimentation. I reasonably read MarcusF's posts the same general way (but technically superior to mine). Yet when I read your posts in this thread they are punctuated and characterized by emotion, speculation and opinion. Again, I'm not trying to insult you here, but your responses to reasonable thoughts and queries come across as defensive, angry, petulant and emotional outbursts rather than logical, considered thoughtful responses.
D. I an intelligent enough to recognize, accept and embrace the truth that each and every member on this forum is smarter than me in at least some aspect and that each of them has something I can learn from them.
As I said, I have no ax to grind here. I wish you well in your venture. It just seems like having facts, hard data and results of independent testing would go lots further than making 'seat-of-the-pants' claims you honestly cannot support other than by opinion and argument. Of course, that's just my opinion, and you're of course welcome to disagree with it.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Just for the record I went to the Benz dealer and asked one of the tech guys there how to get passes the traction control. He stated that the only way to do that is to do it electronically.

I also went to the Speed Gallery in Studio city, since they deal with these types of cars, and they also did not know how to get passed the traction control. If anyone does know a solution to this problem, pls let me know.

I further want to state that, I never intended to offend, or emotionally disturb any of the members here by suggestion extreme ideas, such as racing.

I understand that there maybe very highly educated individuals here that racing, speed and performance just does not interest them. They might rather talk about, what is a good product to wash the car with, or how quickly the seat wormer in his/her car worms the seat, or when is the best time to take your car in for a oil change (come on now, he/she wont be able to change the oil) and so forth.

Again for such individuals described above, I do apologize for talking about racing, speed, performance, and noise. Enjoy getting from point A to B in a nice respectable manner. Hope I did not cause anyone to get psychotherapy.

If I am ever able to get that thing on the dyno, I will post the results here ASAP. God bless you all.

Moreover, if your air filter DIDN'T flow 900 CFM, then it puts to question whether or not it really does flow more air than the OEM filter.

Also, the stock airbox is NOT just a silencer. Unlike supercharged/turbocharged cars, NA cars can benefit with an airbox. Why do you think Renntech, AMG, Brabus, et al. use larger volume airboxes instead of simply bypassing them all together? Wouldn't your solution be much cheaper than developing convoluted molds and airboxes to mount the airfilter in? Furthermore, the reason that the stock airbox is warmer to the touch than your unit is that the airbox is insulated....keeping the radiant heat from the engine away from the incoming air. On your system, the outside air has to cool the entire engine bay, whereas the stock system insulates the cool outside air and delivers it directly to the engine, leaving the radiator to do the job of cooling the engine.

A lot more people understand high performance cars here than you think, they are simply too lazy to help you understand you are selling snake oil that Honda/Chevy drivers usually go for.

In case anyone doesn't recognize it, this is classic "passive aggressive" behavior rather pooly disguised as sarcasm. Very classy.

KGSPORT, you might be surprised how many "highly educated individuals" know quite a bit about racing, speed and performance. Some of them have their SCCA tickets stashed away somewhere, have done some hot laps here and there, tuned all kinds of engines on cars and bikes and have spent way too much money on tires and leaded fuels in their day.

KGSPORT, you just seem to be here to peddle your wares and little else, other than to toss a bit of attitude about. I suggest that in your next attempt, you refer to the item using proper nomenclature, then try a little more humor and a little less attitude. In any case, your brief foray into marketing here is done. Good luck.
