Best way to shave a badge off?

i have heard many and i tried searching but i couldnt find anything that didnt seem as if it would destroy my paint

Fishing line is good but I have found dental floss to be a little more gentle on the paint.

If you put it in very hot [near boiling] water prior to starting the process it will cut through the adhesive much easier. Then googone to take off the residue and you should be ready to buff the paint to make any fading match up.

Done loads of them with a warm air gun or hair drier, just warm them up and they pull off.

Remove the residue with spirit

Is spirit is the same a alcohol? bc I use alcohol in the pasted to remove the adhesive.

Yes it is, label removing stuff also works well, as does cigarette lighter fuel
