Engine leakage,need some info

and me again
Hi,
I just went to dealer to chek the the die that they placed in my engine and they gave m report and told me that it gonna cost me 3000$ to fix. I think thats a bit expansive, so i wanna go to local shop and try to do the service there but i need to know what do i have problems with.. so i can pay attention to what the locals will do to the car (no visual lickage exist so hard to know if they would fix that)

Dealer told me:

1) Lower Oil Pan leaks
2) Rear Engine Cover and Head Gasket
3) Rear diff

Can some one tell me wher do i locate those parts, and how hard its to fix them and how can i chek if that was fized?

Thanks a lot

PS: oh yes im not that dummy so i might know that oil pan is (is that the thing on the bottom on the transmission?) and engine cover i assume is what covering cilinders

Don't believe everything you think

I mean very likely some of those problems don't exist. Mechanics want to charge you for something that you don't need. When top of the engine is leaking oil, it is impossible to say there is oil pan leak, unless you wash whole engine and drive it for several hours. I doubt mechanics did that.
I had "safety courtesy inspection" done by my stealer. They quoted me for replacing NEW flex disk. After inspecting it myself, I figured out they never removed the engine shield to check it.
