um, I thought dealers dont do that, thats why i went to dealer so they tell me more acurate info.

What dealer did they paced die every where and told me to come back after 500 miiles.

THe engine does have visual leakage on right passanger side. but its only "wet", when i move the car from parkong there are no oil on the road.

Is the car even leaking enough to warrant a repair of any sort?

'87 300E: sold after 11years @ 230k & still on the road somewhere in rural Tennessee.

'94 C220 with 93k totalled 10/06 by hit & run broadsiding monster truck: not a scratch or bruise for me

If there are no oil stains on the driveway, it can't be serious. If you are DIY alexus, wash the engine well, remove bottom shield if it is on the way and observe. I wouldn't worry about sweating.
The only MB I couldn't make totally dry was 1983 300 D. I fixed about 8 leaks on it, but some small drip under the turbo was hard to pinpoint. The 320 engines have tendency to leaks on the passenger side under engine breather, but that is minimal problem.

Just be sure you check your oil at least weekly or every time you get gas. Suddenly running too low is usually the final last straw for an engine.

dontlistin to this idoit. hes fuckin stupid. if you have little money then have the dealer do right the first time. trust you will end up doing it again if you have a independent shop do it.

Than some might want to know, that Mercedes engines are not only equipped with no oil pressure alarm, that displays in red, but also with low oil waring, that displays in yellow and gives you plenty of time to drive home and add some oil.
Unless you have a hole in the block and the red alarm will follow yellow warning in the matter of seconds.
