hello, just picked up a used 03 CL500, the car is fine so far, knock on wood. and i will be getting a warrenty soon, but theirs some wierd issues with it.
1- on the door were the seat controls are, the whole wood housing for teh controls on both sides are loose, i neevr noticed them like that until AFTER a week into ownership, and only after i left the dealer after my first oil change. how do i fix these? want them back to solidness.
2-my trunk lid is hard to close, very heavy when closing, and its not the auto close lid, is a shock bad. i noticed one corner(driver side by the rear window) was a lil un-even with the body of teh car, it was elevated a little, what coulda caused that?
Have the dealer repair those items before purchasing the car!
The door / seat control panels probably need replaced...there are plastic bits that hold them in place. If they were not taken off correctly previously - the plastic pcs are probably broken.
[quote=goliath27]already bout it, the dealer states that their has been no damage or body work to the car on the sales agreement, i think thats some help no?
It barely takes a light tap on the trunk lid to throw it off a bit: I know as it happened to me recently & of course, no note left, etc.
