Yes, CalifSLK, there are electrical pad sensors. If you start with a correct fluid level and new pads. The pad sensor would go first before the fluid level sensor if the pads are worn out. Assuming there's no leak in your system. Also, low fluid may not necessarily be due to worn pads.
