Unhappy OBDll

Hi,
Does anyone know how many wires should be in a obdll connector? I'm have a diagnostics module and the cable only has three wires connected, 1 of them being the ground. What should be in there??
Regards
Andy

It depends on the interface system. This might help:

Hey, Andy.

If what you have is one of those multi-displays intended for use while the vehicle is running, just hook it up according to their directions and don't worry about it. They do use different connections than do "normal" OBDII diagnostic devices.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
