7 speed transmisson

Althought MBZ replaced transmisson at 6000 mi. you still feel the downshift.(13000 mi) This happens occasionally. 2005 500E. Any thoughts. Thank you. Martin

Well define feeling the downshift? The transmission is meant to downshift sooner than most transmissions, giving increased engine braking that will slow you down faster, raise your RPMs and be somewhat noticable. As far as I know this is normal behaviour.
