Varying mpg for each car...

2001 CLK 430: 19 city/27 hwy
1988 560SL: 16 city/21 hwy
1985 300SD: 25 city/29 hwy

I have a 2003 C230, and I am learning driving the Wayne Gerdes' way:

This Guy Can Get 59 MPG in a Plain Old Accord. Beat That, Punk.

I am not a hypermiler yet, but the best I get is 36mpg (1/4 city and 3/4 highway) 20 miles run to work everyday..

and when I drive heroically, I can forget about fuel economy

I average 18 city hwy mix and get 31 on the highway with the cruise on 65. Impressive.
