Interior trim

We have a 2 tone SLK 320. Its the one with a dark blue and Ivory trim.

Well its getting worn and is looking a tad tatty. Especially the drivers door handle, (ivory) and the area around the gear shift/drivers hip area.

Question. Do we have to buy "new" parts to replace them....and if so from where, apart from MBUSA of course.

OR is there a paint/spray or something else.

I am sure that this isnt an isolated prob,

Well its up to you whether you replace your Mercedes Benz door handle and other parts.A paint may not be a good one substitute, but it will also depend on how long your door handle has been so far.

Do a search or post on the R170 forum. There are several discussions on the interior problems.
