I think I might skip on the brake dust shields. I remember after driving and washing my car then washing my wheels, they would steam a bit because of the hot brakes.
ANyway, I'm looking at EBC Green Stuff pads or SP Street Plus pads or Raybestos.
Anyone advise against these or have any other brands that you recommend over these?
I'm right now leaning towards either EBC or Raybestos....probably Raybestos.
But there are so many to choose from...StreetTechnologySeries...PG Plus...QuietStop....Noise Solution...BruteStop...SuperStop.
I'm torn between STS, PG Plus, or QuietStop.
Raybestos -- The Best In Brakes: Brake Pads
I drive very spiritedly so I do a lot of hard braking. And the current brakes are really good IMO. They provide good feel and feedback, are firm, perform well with good stopping power, are quiet and don't require much travel in the pedal. I don't want to lose that. So I needs pads that are quiet, smooth, provide good feel and feedback, provide very good stopping power, are quiet and emit little to no dust. So I dunno which one is best.
