Since it's so expensive and hard to find wood trim at a decent price, I took it upon myself to do redo the trim on my car. Let me know what you guys think.
it is only mocked up for those ready to comment AND I have not completed the a/c control trim yet (I had done in black but it gets dirty too quickly with all that shine.)

I will change my steering wheel to something black with nice stitches.. same goes with shift knob.

Looks good to me. I agree with your ideas for the steering wheel and the shift knob. Good luck with the rest of the job. Please post photos when you have finished the job, or updates as you go.
