C43 AMG vs 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth? Which is more rare, and which is more quicker?

Hello guys, looking at a few Benz's and I was wondering which of these two is the more supreme and rare car?

The C43 AMG seems to be more tougher, where the 190E seems to be more sporty, especially with an manual tranny.

Also, if the Cosworth is more rare, which is more rare, manual or automatic?

Thanks guys.

The regular 2.3-16 Cosworth has a definite cool factor, don’t confuse that with fast. The US spec cars have 167 HP and 162 ft-lbs of torque in a 3100 pound vehicle. They take about eight and a half seconds to reach sixty, and require 16+ seconds to eclipse the quarter mile at 85 MPH. Admittedly, the European spec cars were more powerful at 187 HP and 174 ft-lbs of torque, but neither car can accelerate anything like a C43. The C43 has 302 HP and 302 ft-lbs of torque. The C43 ran a zero to sixty in the mid fives. As the speeds increase, things only got worse for the 2.3. The C43 has a quarter mile trap speed that’s about 15 MPH faster than the 2.3-16. Think about that for a minute. One car is "pulling away" from the other by 15 MPH - and growing. Don't get me wrong, the 2.3-16 IS a nice car and it has a cult-like following. It's just not as fast as a more modern AMG.

The rarest model (which you may have an “interesting” time finding) is the 2.3-16 EVOII with the AMG Power Pack. These only came in with a manual and if you can find one in the US, it probably requires a trip to the Mercedes Classics Center for routine maintenance.

Alright, thanks, that's exactly the response I was figuring. Those EVOIIs are very interesting cars... Typical person seeing one would probably call it rice and not even know it is something of MB History.

I guess I'll just keep looking around for a C43 AMG... There is one in the for sale area but the mileage is holding me back...
