Extended Warranty

I have 89,000 miles on my 2001 S600. My MB extended warranty ends July 30, 2007/100,000 miles.
I wish to extend my current factory warranty by buying an exclusionary warranty policy, where the policy lists what is excluded from coverage, also called components coverage.
I am told that MB does not offer this for 2001 S600.
I have been unable to find a company that offers exclusionary, where everything is covered except what is excluded.
My current extended policy with MB is an exclusionary policy.
I have been offered an inclusionary policy, i.e. listed major components only, for 24,000/24 months for $4,200.00 by an MB dealer but the insurer is a 3rd party and not MB.
Price sounds high.
Any advice?

I do not know the difference(s) between an inclusionary and exclusionary extended warranty. However, I thought as long as you are covered by an MB warranty, you can extend it with MB with some limitations.

For example, if you now have an MB CPO warranty, you should be able to extend that for another 12 months. As far as I know, they all terminate at 100,000 miles. For an initial CPO warranty, the rules are 7 years in service (you should still be within that) and less than 75,000.

As far as the price you were quoted, when I bought my 2001 E320 w/53,000 as a CPO, I extended the 12/100,000 to 24/100,000 for about $2500. From what I have read, the 12-cylinder engines are very expensive to have repaired, so I think $4200 is a fair price if it covers anywhere close to what the MB CPO one does; that sounds pretty good to me.
