Flakey sunroof operation

Any common problems with MB sunroofs?
Mine's a '91 300.
Doesn't go all the way back.
Doesn't stop when closing...continues to operate and the rear pops up.
I always have to move the switch around with my arm out the window feeling the sunroof to make sure it's closed properly.
Does this sound familiar to anybody?

What do you mean it doesn't open all the way? They all only open until about 4 inches. The motor in mine also keeps on going after it is closed and opened.

My sunroof broke in April. I finally got it fixed last week, took the whole thing apart and ordered the parts from the dealer and put it all back together. It was a royal pain in the ass. When I had everything put together I realized that it kept going while closing and eventually popped open. I was too lazy to open it back up and fiddle with it some more. My guess would be something to do with the sliding lifting arms on the track and their positioning.
