I know you aren't bashing your parents, but my father has been dead since 1995 (and my mother since 2002). But, if they were alive today, I'd certainly let either of them drive my Benz. Mom would never have asked, and would have been afraid to try. I think my father would have really enjoyed the experience.
Cherish your parents while they are alive because unless something really unusual happens, you'll be living without them soon enough.
I'm sorry about your parents.
I don't know what to say, there is nothing I can say.
You're right, I'm not bashing them, it's just funny that they were anti-another car, and then they slowly realize how awesome it is and finally gave in, I had a 'TOLD YOU SO.' look on my face when they asked.
My pops is the 'as long as it gets you from point A to point B' kind of guy and not so much a car enthusiast, which is ironic because he's a really experienced mechanic, even used to work on
Lamborghinis and other exotics back in the day which I thought was really cool.
It goes from, yea, you should totally NOT buy that car, to hey uhhh, you should totally let me borrow that car.
