MB worst car ever !!!

Just sold my 95 C220 (116K)I had for 5 months and I am the happiest man in the world. This was the worst car I ever had.I don't underestand you people saying how pround are you with your MB and how this is the best and reliable car ever made.Really funny.Mercedes is the hell on the earth.Expensive parts,f@cking high charges per hour at MBD and still problems with something. In my case I purchased the car for $6K ,after 2 weeks invested $800 air pump,$800 kickdown element,$280 MAF, $300 for 3 times check up and $160 3th brake light.
To make it more interesting -the previous owner spend like $8000 in repairs(harness,A/C. etc) just months before me.How funny.Piece of junk with $10500 invested all together no mentioning the normal maintenance?WTF?Is it really worth the pain in the ass to ride the Mercedes? You guys must be made of the gold.I sold it for $4500 and I am happy with all my loss and will never turn my head on any Benz ever again.
I know,my post will be taken down because you are the big fans of your MB,but just browse this forum a little to see how many people are just asking what's wrong at this time and how much again. You will never see that at Honda or even Kia forum. That means something, huh? But good luck to all of you loving your MB and wasting your money.I can say the MB was my worst car ever)

Good luck surviving a crash in that tin foil Honduh,Kia or whatever you pick up and sorry to hear that you had such a terrible period of ownership with your C220. You should have bought a pre '90 MB but it's probably too late to pass this suggestion on to you.

I see several things here that cause me to question YOUR wisdom to begin with:
1. You paid WHAT!!?? $6,000 for a '95 C220 with 115,000 miles? I know KBB says it's worth 6500 from the dealer but that is a lot to pay for a 13 year old car with 115,000 miles.
2. Piece of junk? How well did the previous owner take care of it? Apparently you knew it was a POS when you got it because you knew he spent $8,000 in repairs on it.
3. You should have done your research before buying it. If you would have, then you could have avoided all this to begin with.

Sorry about your bad luck but you have to assume some responsibility for not checking out this 'POS' before you bought it.

Enjoy your Honkia.

I'm not sure what you expected to get in a $6000, 12 years old, high mileage, bottom of the line car. The "fact" that the previous owner just spent $8000 on it and was selling it for only $6000 also should have told you something.

No man, you got it all wrong... You have to buy a GOOD MERCEDES. It would just be plain ignorant to say this one company produces only perfect cars. There are obviously going to be some lemons, if not from factory then from others selling their mercedes they didnt taek care of. So you didnt check the records before buying it? WOWEEEE. Thats the point when we as smart consumers only buy the best models that have been well-documented and maintained. I guess you didnt take these precautions before you jumped headfirst into the fiery hell of used car buying. If you buy a poopie mercedes, deal with it. Next time do some homework and it will pay off.

So if I read what you are saying correctly , this "particular" car (you didn't mention you had previously owned other Mercedes Benz cars to compare this to) was your worst car ever. Had it been a 1995 BMW whatever and did the same I guess it would have been your "worst car ever".Well I can relate. I had a 1960 Corvair Monza years ago that was my worst car ever. Anybody else have a "worst car"?

Hey,my bad luck -yes.Bad luck for almost 80% of the users here-yes.What else?Don't you see it's not just me?Do you really need to spend almost same money you paid for the brand new car to keep it running for a while?Isn't it wrong?
$6000 95' honda civic with the same miles will last 250-300k WITH NO MAJOR ISSUES.I believed the Benz can do at least the same.I was wrong.Or maybe it will-but with the next $6000 invested in a repairs.
