Worst car ever?
All of you will have to admit that Benz-O-Mania, with whatever adjective you want to add to his opinion, did russle up quite a few feathers. I would imagine a large percentage of us have been down that "got taken" road before finding the vehicle that we love. Benz-O-Mania was just stating an opinion and after reading all of these postings, we obviously all have one.
Being an American who has worked in an automobile plant for 35 years, I have followed cars and have been a car nut for a large portion of my 60 years. I have heard pros and cons from many people concerning their foreign or domestic vehicles and have this to say, "sometimes you just get a lemon." Brand new vehicles rolling off the dealership parking lot or ten year old "just got to have" creampuffs are all prone to be break from time to time.
Perhaps Benz-O-Mania heard the term, "German Engineering" and expected his used MB to be perfect. Who knows? I do agree that a pre-inspection would have been a wise thing to do and it's easy to say what should have been done, but how many of us have done that with our first MB purchase?
To a MB owner, whether new or used, paying repair bill after repair bill is not a fun thing to do especially after just having bought the vehicle. I think that Benz-O-Mania probably just got hammered all at once and had a negative reaction to buying his first MB which was unfortunate.
Hopefully we can all use this forum to share our opinions and interests with an open mind. If we all thought the same way wouldn't that be boring?
Happy motoring to all. SpeedDemon
