Awesome air!

That is bad A**! that would do it for me. I would buy one. Who cares about the price. I love my Benz buy no pollution for getting to and from and cheap 5500 euros wow. Bring it on. I thought the smart car was a nice idea, this blows it away. Reminds me of the hydraulic car that some college kids developed years ago. A small motor built up hydralic pressure to go through pumps/motors attached to the wheels achieving somewhere near 100 MPG for a vehicle wieghing 3800 lbs. It was heavy because of the industrial motors and pumps it used.

I have lot of problems with the idea:
-compressors run on electricity. Electricity production generate lot of pollution, so how this is non-polluting car?
-compressing the air is very inefficient way to convert the energy. Compressing air to high-pressure is not only costly, but also quite danger. Check with any scuba shop. Converting compressed air to mechanical power is very inefficient as well.
-to may knowledge very heavy set of high-pressure tanks can provide energy for just few miles. Giving it 200-300 km is new Physics to me.
