Just saw this and don't know if you found a solution, but I know of a good guy in Mineola. He has a small shop but is a knowledgable mechanic and is honest. PM me and I'll send you the contact info.

how much do u guy think is a fair price for oil change? the local mechanic in carle place charges $90 (includes tax, etc.) for 8.5 quart mobil-1 synthetic oil for my C240 2002 year.

heck, how am i sure he even used the oil as he said. and how can i verify he replaced the oil filter?

thanks.

Hey OP. If you are willing to make it over to North NJ, I will vouch for Bell's Mercedes in Paramus, NJ. They're great and I've been working with them since the beginning and they came highly recommended by good family friends.

Also grkmano you should resize or crop your signature picture before a mod yells at you.
