It sort of reminds me of a Mazda, or if you Blur your eyes a Nissan Murrano. Soon they'll be a Lexus that looks like it.

(and the new C looks like a little S class; just doesn't sit well with me. i liked how it previously had its own destinctive almost-separate circular headlights)
I agree, I think the star in the middle only belongs on the SUV's and cars with two doors, minus the CLS of course.
As for the C class looking like a little S class; I always thought they have. The 190e looked similar to the w126 class. The w202 C class looked like the W140 S class. Than again they both had the "Diplomatic" appearance to them, as they all once did. I also liked the "almost separate" circular headlights of the last C-class.
When I saw the sport model that Kraugs posted I was a little disappointed in it, because I thought they all would look like that. However I did a little searching and I found a few images. Some of which where edited, but than I saw the one below, and I really like it, I think its the real thing too. It looks a little more..."sturdy" than most cars made today. We'll see if beauty is only skin deep or not...
Here are some pictures in the regular trim, I guess...unless they where photoshopped like the other one I foundhttp://www.benzworld.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2308670&posted=1#post2308670
