When I first bought the car last month the cats were all over it. We have alot of cats here that my neighbor feeds and takes pity on. Well I compounded and waxed the car and have not seen a paw print since. I guess they just slide right off! I know that the bottle of wax did when I was finished.

My neighbor's cat was in my garage when I put the garage door down one evening. This incident below is not the first run in with this cat either! I park it with the top down in the summer months. The F@#%ing cat was all over the interior and left a ton of cat hair in the windscreen and seats. I told my neighbor if I catch that cat in my yard he wont' see it again. I don't think he thought I was totally serious at that point. The other day he was over and asked "Hey have you seen our cat running around lately?" I said "Humm, not in a long time."

Some do, some don't, some will, some won't, but I might!

My Cat Hates Bimmers (or at least this one!)

We ended up with an adopted downtown Atl "stray". Girlfriend insisted, I tried every excuse, most obvious being that our pit-bull would eat it. Cat proceeded to win a split decision day fight with aforementioned pit bull, gaining a little respect from me in the process. Saw him latched onto the tailpipe of a moving car a few days later. Numerous calls from neighbors prompted me to remove my number from his collar ("I found your cat outside my apartment, yowling like crazy. I brought him in and fed him, but now he won't let anybody in the bedroom and we're kind of scared of him - could you come get him?").
According to the vet, he's a breed called a "snowshoe". Looks like a sled dog, only bigger. We have an neighbor with a new 330 BMW convertible. Seems like a nice enough woman, and her car is probably the only one here that gets cleaned more than mine. I almost feel bad that our cat has decided to attack that canvas roof every night. Claw marks, paw prints, and once a dead bird left on the trunk. I'm going to start taking pictures. This cat seriously hates that car. I like him a little more every day.

Did you try putting a scratching post next to the BMW?

UPDATE 3:
Lots of crazy / funny stories... I'm glad that I don't have cat scratches or humming birds/billy goats/woodchucks eating my car.
I've made it through the weekend with no cats! I guess that spray stuff from the petstore worked! I only sprayed it two consecutive nights, probably have enough for one more in the can.
Thanks to all that came up with ideas and thanks to all that showed some symapthy and thanks to all that showed me it could be worse!
