JMHO, but which do you trust more?
I can almost promise you that the dealer will find more things "wrong" that need to be fixed, which if done will pump up that price quite a bit.
You'd also have to be sure they're both doing the same thing. For example, my stealership includes several things at the "B" service that aren't on the B service, which naturally increases the cost. It could be just the opposite in this case, you'd only know by asking.
Generally I'd try to support the indy shop if you trust them; they have more to lose and more to gain by developing a trusted relationship with you.
