Mercedes Benz Concept Car??

[Transport Design]

Dear all,

We are currently studying Transport Design at The University of Huddersfield and have just begun a project focusing on designing a future car for the ‘Executive’ sector of Mercedes Benz.

As a result we are hoping to find out more about the potential owners of our concept in order to help us to design something appropriate. Subsequently, we have compiled a short questionnaire which we would be very grateful if you could find a few moments to complete for us.

Please answer as many questions as you can, but don’t worry if you can’t answer all of them.

As part of our final unit we need to evaluate the brand and buyer profile of Mercedes owners. We would be very grateful if anyone could give some feedback by answering as many of the following questions as is comfortable.

Which model of Mercedes do you own?

Did you buy it from new?

Why did you buy the Mercedes?

What aspects attracted you to the Mercedes brand?

Which of these aspects is most important?

Which other brands do you prefer? (Non car brands)

So far elsewhere we have found out that UK merc owners like toshiba tvs, Marks and Spencer shopping and often are influenced by their wives when it comes to car choice (and lots of other choices too!!)

Did you buy it from new? Nope, bought it about 2-3 years old. Made sure the previous owner took care of the problems common during the first year of ownership.

Why did you buy the Mercedes? Safety, performance, ride quality/comfort, cargo/passenger space, towing capacity.

What aspects attracted you to the Mercedes brand? Family members and friends recommended MB in general. And the above answers^^^.
