If you only lost one remote and it is a smart key ordering a replacement will void the one you are replacing, or you can order an aditional one and your dealer can void the stolen one using the body computer software permanently. The remote and key can usually be had for something around $200 in a few days. The key will only unlock the door, the electronics in the remote will allow the car to start
The locksmiths cant even cuot the keys any more its easier to order by VIN #

Did you to try 1-800 for mercedes ?
If you are worried about the car, how about locking it in the garage
or putting in with a friend until Monday comes along ?

Since they have the key, I will have to change the locks and get a new pair of keys. I don't really know how Mercedes Benz does this or how much it costs seeing as the keys are electronic. Does anyone know what needs to be replaced in order for my car to be safe? How much would this cost?
Sorry to hear your wallet and key got stolen.

As stated above you can have it reprogram by the dealer (I talked to one of my friend SA @ MB he said they can kill the other key that got stolen)

I guess your next step to is to place a Fraud Alert under your Social Security Number - means everytime someone apply for a credit card under your name using your personal information they can notify you asap.

Also just a precaution to inform your Home Alarm company; ADT; Brinks...etc re: your stolen keys...and your neighbors just to look out for your house while your away from work.

Also do not forget to file a police report for insurance purposes in the future.
