2002 Mercedes-Benz ML320 (sold)
2011 Chrysler Town & Country
2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid
2003 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic
2002 Jaguar X-Type 2.5

Well if "good sound system" is very important, then look at the other cars or look at post on the "audio" forum to get an idea. For example the new 2007 S600 does not have iPod connectivity.

Your safest bet is to sit in & drive each of them. Let the salesperson know up front you're not buying based on price. Just like buying a house, you'll know the right one when you experience it in person.

'87 300E: sold after 11years @ 230k & still on the road somewhere in rural Tennessee.

'94 C220 with 93k totalled 10/06 by hit & run broadsiding monster truck: not a scratch or bruise for me

I think the opening statement says it all, he is going to lease it and then customize it, those two are not compatible. The dealers dont want to resell a modded car, and will charge dearly if you do it. The family car and chick magnet, and the need to drive the family around, they must not have that much free cash.

A baller factor? That's a lame ass reason to get a car but whatever floats your boat.

...and if money isn't an issue get yourself a CL, CL65 if you can.

If you want a "chick magnet" that attracts gold diggers...might I suggest an Escalade or a Hummer H2 from the United States of Americaland?

It has everything the modern off-roader needs from chrome kickplates to gangster tinted windows (quote Jeremy Clarkson).

I had to throw this in here:

The Cadillac CTS is not the comparable car to the E500. You should be looking at its bigger, more deluxe brother, the STS. Comes with optional AWD and a V-8. Top of the line goes for almost $67K. Or, they make a supercharged version, the "V" with 469 HP. Definately meets your requirements of a chic magnet, pimped out ride!
Whenever I see Cadillacs it reminds me of Senior citizen car, no offense to seniors. I just dont see the cadillacs as a chick magnet, I mean they're too squarish, too blocky.
