MB Customer Satisfaction (UK) Survey

I am hoping to gather some facts supporting the general belief that the quality of service offered by MB (UK) dealers consistantly falls short of customer expectations.

With some reluctance I think I'll be driven to write to the CEO at MB, Germany outlining my customer experience to date whilst awaiting to factory collect my first MB, an R171 SLK55AMG in June 2007.

The latest developments can be found in the R171 section of this forum.

Please contribute if you would like your experience included in the survey.

Clearly, if the Poll majority indicates that our UK dealers are doing a great job - I'll wind my neck in!

Iridium Silver / Black Nappa Leather / Carbon Fibre Trim / COMAND / HK Sound / Heated Washers / Heated Seats / Parktronic / Tyre Warning System / Airscarf / Auto-Dim Mirrors / Lux Climate / Tel Pre-Wire / Trans Wind Def / Vario RC / F1 Performance Pack (inc. Sterling Silver 2 Piece Road Wheels, Leather/Alcantara Sports Steering Wheel, Uprated Brake Discs and Suspension)

You are staring into the pit of piss-poor MB service right in this forum.. Just ask Sarge. Unless you own 150 vans or something.

Read up on your thread. Looks like you are getting fobbed off for sure.

Last year I bought a E280 CDI avanguard pre registered. On collection I noticed that the windscreen was chipped & cracked. Also someone had opened a door and banged/damaged the door trim on the nearside rear door. The car was collect from my home address & taken to my local MB dealer/stealer. The car was returned in one hell of a mess. I had black hand prints all over my leather seats, around the windscreen pillars even the light switch had a big greasy finger print on it.
Car was uplifted a secong time this time to be cleaned. Came back still with the finger print on the light switch plus while they had the car it was scratched right down the rear bumper. Of coarse this never happened while it was in their care. The car was back another two times for further cleaning & also a recall (Bottom Ball Joints Front)
Ended up selling the car within six months.....Sick feed up with their service or lack of it.
