No, I don't think you're crazy at all. However, like some of the others have already said, I would also want to know the exact source of the leak (and if possible what it will cost you to have that fixed).
One concern I would have is the fact that practically everything else on the car is almost 20 years old, and that the car has only been driven 5000 miles a year on average.
I have been told that the years are a more significant factor on Mercedes than their mileages.
