mercedes 190 D electrical problem

Hi all.

I have a Mercedes 190 D and the white 8 A fuse went off. The lights in the panel (battery, fuel, etc) went off too. I replace the fuse (another 8 A fuse) but 1 minute after it burn down again.

What's the posible problem? I don't if the light in the panel are consuming more than 8 A. I don't think that is a shurt circuit 'cause I put a 16 A fuse and it is working on.

Thank u.
