Yah, that makes a lot of sense. Don't do what I want because of other people. Maybe I shouldn't go out at night because there's muggers....
I understand what you're trying to say here. I'm normally the type that lets just about anything slide. However, there's always a certain point that you can't just keep taking it up the ass. These two guys have an entire apartment complex as their candy shop, and who knows how many other locations around town. When I spoke with the property management, their response was "Yah, they just seem to this area a lot". I personally don't feel that we should ever get to the point that we just accept a victim status. We can do certain things to try and minimize our exposure, but there's still a certain line that gets crossed and we go from "low profile" to Subjugation.
Let's take it to the next level... I also have a good home stereo. If my blinds are up, you can see one of my home speakers. So, should I rearrange my furniture (creating crappy soundstage), never open the blinds, or simply not own good furniture in fear of someone breaking in? I'm a musical person. That's my passion. Some people like to buy the huge plasma tv... I don't have a TV. My thing is my music. I take frequent road trips and I enjoy a good clear sound.
Where exactly is the line drawn?
