ENVIRONMENT & Global Warming

Hello all

As you will see from my signature, I am a MB owner a few times over. I drive cars that I believe are optimised environmentally (as far as I or dealer can make 'em), however do I contribute to global warming? YES.

Do I feel guilty about it?

YES (I know I burn fuel) - and NO (I use it for more than commuting or subsistence - let's have some fun with our cars after all!)

To ask this question of the benzworld community seems prudent

I love my cars - but am I asking myself the correct questions right now?

Is it time to give up petrol? If we do - what comes after?

PS

Don't tell me to scrap my cars cos I love 'em all - nor am I a member of Greenpeace

Also being a relative newbie I am not preaching

But as responsible "energy users" - how do we all feel and what do we all think?

Btw - the proof of global warming is out there!

I live on a hill but that's not the point
