I think dragging puts the least amount of stress on a drivetrain compared to any other form of automotive racing. There's literally no stress on the suspension/chassis, or at least, not that much as compared to a race track and a car being put to the limits in corners. In drags, only the transmission and the engine are pretty much worked the most where as on a race track, the engine, transmission, chassis, suspension, basically the WHOLE drive train is being utilized.
