I bought my car out of state and had the final couple of warranty things taken care of by Autobahn Motors (off the Ralston exit from 101 in Belmont). I certainly had no complaints about their service, they did fine work although I had to push them on a couple of things. I'm not a dealer fan, but for warranty that's the deal anyway. So in that sense I could suggest them. They also have the loaners or a free shuttle pretty much anywhere around, I'm up near SF and they shuttled me both ways for a single-day service deal.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)

Regarding loaners, I think almost all MB dealers offer them or the shuttle service. RAB in Marin offers loaners but you have to schedule an appointment at least 2 weeks prior to the service. Not sure if this is SOP or not for other dealers. Well, during hard braking, I noticed brake squeak and called the dealer. My service writer NEVER returned my call...again. So, spoke to the service manager and he returned my call and said he would speak to him. What a waste of time. I'm also waiting for my promised reimbursement check for the tint I had replaced as well as the correct Navi manual. It's been 5+ weeks now. Not a lot of attention to detail at this dealership.
