Astray Gas Strut

When I installed a c/f hood, I removed the gas struts as they were too powerful for the new lightweight hood. I've replaced the OEM hood now and cannot get the struts to contract. According to WIS, once removed, they are useless and must be replaced. Is this true?

I don't really know, but if personal experience and the WIS agree, it might well be so. BTW, if you'd just quit smoking, you'd have no need for an astray.

No go. I arrived at the interview stone drunk and high on paint fumes. I then preceded to scream racial epithets throughout the customer service area and vomit on unsuspecting patrons. When they allowed me to take care of one customer whose gas cap was loose, I suggested changing the fuel system and head gasket.
They told me I was too wishy-washy and refined and that I missed a chance to suggest a new motor because the mounts were bad.
