When is Mercedes going to get rid of the ash interior and go to
grey/dark grey interiors in all of their models?

I really like my ash interior. Why are they getting rid of it?

I prefer my Black interior. Grey, Ash, just too common and M.O.R.

Drove a C55 AMG recently, and the interior let that otherwise impressive car down BIG TIME. Very very plain and cheap looking. The flimsiest switchgear i've ever seen in a German car. Thin, uncomfortable seats in a car that most Europeans would expect to drive from London to Lausanne.
I clocked up 300 miles in a day, and physically felt worse than if i'd driven 600 in my W201.

I love the Ash leather. My only complaint is that its get dirty rather quickly after cleaning them.

I like my ash because it doesn't seem to require any cleaning. I had it cleaned by a detail pro for the first time last spring and could not even tell it had been cleaned. It really doesn't show dirt, IME.

I think they'll stop producing ash interiors when the public stops buying them.

Not necessarily dirt, but you can see near the legs area and the thigh area of the seat, there's a slight bluish tint. I haven't had the chance to clean it.

From now on I'm making everybody wear sweats and fuzzy slippers. I'm making this car last 150k miles.

What kind of Ash leather do you have? The perforated or the other kind?

Do you wear blue jeans? It only gets worse when I get a new pair of jeans, because the dye on the jeans is still thick. A few washes later and it's alright.
