I could be mistaken, but I believe this product requires a head unit with RCA input jacks. I've never seen an OEM head with input jacks.

This will allegedly do the same thing and is meant to plug directly into a Mercedes-Benz wiring harness.

I decided to use one of these instead. It's an MP3 player that’s shaped like a cassette and plays through the cassette deck. The photo has the earplugs in the jack, but they simply unplug. The downside is it only holds about 96MB.

I installed a similar looking cable from Monster cable..It cost about $20 at Best Buys..I have an E500 04 so I just connected one end to the aux. input in the glove compartment and fished the wire neatly underneath the sides of the shifter and the wire sticks out only 4". Just enough room to keep the iPod within's hand reach.Sound is better than any fm modulator or cassette adapter..The wire is barely noticeable & it's good for those leasing vehicles since there's no need to cut into the car.
