I just bought a s 430 2001 at 32,500 canadian but i just realized they changed the model for 07 and the E class hasn't changed ....Anyone got any thoughts on the look of the 2001 s class vs the stikin around e class?

the 2001 is the last design by the outgoing MB chief designer .

IM honest opinion, It is probably the best looking MB ever. It looks modern even in 2007, Timeless design. I would probably buy one myself , but I am also very interested in the driving aspect so I am looking at potentially BMW . the s-class drives like a boat.

but for sheer driving fun, the e-class wins but costs 50K and looks like a honda. Hopefully they'll get get the looks and driving together next time.

The E is a great car, but the S is, by far, the superior automobile! As I said in your other thread, the S is to the E as the Lexus is to the Camary or the Q45 is to the Maxima. You should have NO second thoughts about staying w/ the S-class.
