Air pockets in the cooling system

How do I remove the air pockets in my cooling system? I working on my 500E.

I searched the forums and posted a similar query in the 124 forum without much success.

Air pockets? To my knowledge no MB has them.
You are not talking about closed thermostat holding some air?
